Lee Pound's extensive experience as a newspaper editor, novelist, chief
financial officer, writing coach, family historian and professional speaker have
given him a unique insight into how companies work, how people perform or fail
to perform, how writers have much to teach businessmen and how businessmen have
much to teach the world. He specializes in motivating people to perform to their
maximum ability, and will lead your audiences to unleash their individual inner
power to change, grow and accomplish more than they ever thought possible.
Pound began his career as a newspaper editor and reporter in Placentia and
Newport Beach, California. During his tenure, the Newport Ensign won the award
for best newspaper in California 3 years in a row.
He was Vice-President in charge of finance at the publicly held corporation,
Baker Newspaper Group, Inc. in Beverly Hills for 10 years, and is very familiar
with being subjected to Securities and Exchange Commission audits, and reporting
to shareholders and a board of directors. He continued in the same role for the
next 7 years, when the company reverted to private ownership. In addition to
his financial business role, Lee is a novelist, writing coach and consultant, as
well as an accomplished
genealogist. He has spoken to many genealogical societies and conferences in
Southern California over the past 25 years and has published 2 comprehensive
genealogical books.
